Cybersecurity & cryptography leadership
in global financial services.
With over twenty years of experience working in complex international environments, I focus on building resilient security programmes that stand up to real-world pressure and regulatory scrutiny. My work spans security strategy and architecture, governance, risk and controls, and cloud security—bridging deep technical detail with clear communication for executives, boards, and cross-functional teams. I write and speak on controls assurance, measurement, cryptographic agility, and post-quantum readiness, with an emphasis on what works in practice (not just what looks good on a slide).

MY SKILLS
Quantum-Led Cybersecurity
My work is grounded in cryptography and risk—looking ahead to how quantum computing reshapes security, trust, and resilience in global financial systems. The capabilities below reflect how I approach cybersecurity today: forward-looking, measurable, and built to operate at scale.
QUANTUM & CRYPTOGRAPHIC SECURITY
Raising the Bar
-
Protect computer systems from theft or damage of their data and resources.
-
Realize a firmwide strategy to enable mitigation of Cyber-vulnerabilities.
-
Drive remediation of Cyber vulnerabilities on all levels of the firm from Board down.
CYBER RESILIENCE
Above and Beyond
-
Protect IT systems, critical infrastructure, business processes,
-
Acess impact and protect the availability, integrity, or confidentiality of networked IT systems and associated information and services for entire firm.
-
Maintain the firm's ability to deliver the intended outcome
ENTERPRISE RISK
A Measurable Discipline
-
Assess cyber risk across the enterprise
-
Model and quantify risk to support executive and board-level decisions
-
Communicate, prioritise, and drive remediation of material risks
FOUNDATIONS
Scientific and leadership training that shaped my approach
NEW YORK UNIVERSITY
High-energy physics (theoretical and experimental), including research at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Fermilab. This training formed the analytical foundation for my later work in cryptography, risk modelling, and complex systems.
LAFAYETTE COLLEGE
Research in nuclear gamma-ray spectroscopy at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Los Alamos, supported by the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of Energy—developing a deep grounding in measurement, uncertainty, and signal analysis.
HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL
Executive education in negotiation and consensus building, informing my approach to executive communication, governance, and decision-making at scale.
"a pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees ehe opportunity in every difficulty."
Winston Churchill
